By accessing and using VTE Tickets, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Visionary Technologies Enterprise (VTE).

Welcome to VTE Tickets, operated by Visionary Technologies Enterprise (Registration Number: 320210023610, TPIN: 1018224627). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our digital ticketing platform, website, mobile applications, and related services.

By creating an account, making a ticket reservation, or accessing our services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Acceptance of Terms

Legal Agreement

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "User") and Visionary Technologies Enterprise ("VTE," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, or using the VTE Tickets platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

Eligibility Requirements

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services independently.

Legal Capacity

You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in Zambia.

Service Description

Platform Services

VTE Tickets provides a digital platform that enables:

  • Event discovery and ticket reservations
  • Digital ticket generation with QR codes
  • Payment coordination between customers and organizers
  • Entry management and validation services

Intermediary Role

Important limitations of our service:

  • We are an intermediary, not the event organizer
  • We facilitate payments but don't process them directly
  • Event quality and execution are the organizer's responsibility
  • We verify organizers but don't guarantee their performance

User Accounts

Account Creation

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain account security credentials
  • Notify us of unauthorized access immediately

Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all account activity
  • Keep contact information current
  • Use account only for lawful purposes

Account Termination Rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Reservation Terms

  • Reservations are not guaranteed tickets until payment is confirmed
  • Organizers may cancel unconfirmed reservations
  • Tickets are for personal use only, not for resale
  • Each ticket admits one person only

Ticket Validation

Each ticket includes a unique QR code that can only be scanned once. Presenting a scanned ticket for entry constitutes fraud and may result in legal action.

Keep your ticket secure. We cannot replace lost or stolen tickets.

Payment Process

  • Organizer contacts you for payment arrangement
  • Payment made directly to organizer, not VTE
  • Organizer confirms payment in our system
  • You receive confirmed ticket with QR code

Payment Responsibilities

Currency

All prices are in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW)

Taxes

Prices include all applicable Zambian taxes

Fees

No additional platform fees for customers

Payment Disputes

Any payment disputes must be resolved directly with the event organizer. VTE acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for payment disputes between customers and organizers. However, we may facilitate communication and provide evidence of reservation records if needed.

User Conduct

Prohibited Activities

  • Creating fake events or tickets
  • Reselling tickets above face value
  • Using automated systems to reserve tickets
  • Providing false information

Platform Rules

  • Respect other users' privacy
  • No harassment or abusive behavior
  • Comply with all Zambian laws
  • No attempt to breach security

Consequences of Violations

Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate account termination, cancellation of tickets, and legal action. We reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who violate the law.

Cancellation & Refunds

General Policy

Refund and cancellation policies are determined by individual event organizers, not by VTE Tickets. By making a reservation, you agree to the specific cancellation policy of that event.

For detailed refund procedures, please refer to our Refund Policy.

Event Cancellation

If an organizer cancels an event, they are responsible for providing refunds to all paid ticket holders. VTE will facilitate communication but is not responsible for issuing refunds.

Ticket Transfers

Tickets may be transferable to another person at the organizer's discretion. Contact the organizer directly for transfer requests. Transferred tickets retain the original QR code.

Limitation of Liability

Service Limitations

VTE Tickets provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement of intellectual property
  • Accuracy or completeness of content

Liability Caps

To the maximum extent permitted by Zambian law, VTE shall not be liable for:

Direct Damages

Limited to amount paid for tickets

Indirect Damages

Not liable for consequential losses

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures or delays in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

Intellectual Property

VTE Property

All platform content, features, functionality, logos, trademarks, and source code are owned by Visionary Technologies Enterprise and are protected by Zambian and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content

By submitting content to our platform, you grant VTE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving our services.

Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works
  • Reverse engineer or decompile our software
  • Use our trademarks without permission
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices

Termination

By VTE

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including:

  • Breach of these Terms of Use
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment to organizers (for organizers)

By User

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Contacting us at support@vteofficial.com
  • Ceasing all use of the platform
  • Deleting the mobile app (if applicable)

Effects of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. If your account is terminated, we may delete your content and information. However, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through direct negotiation

If negotiation fails, parties agree to mediation in Lusaka, Zambia

Legal Action

Unresolved disputes may be brought to courts in Lusaka, Zambia

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, you waive any right to a jury trial.

Changes to Terms

Modification Rights

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Acceptance of Changes

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing these Terms of Use periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our services following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Use constitutes acceptance of those changes.
